When you first unroll your new rug, you may notice some creases and bunching in the pile and around the corners. These waves will flatten within 2-3 weeks as you begin to use your new rug. Here are some tips to help flatten your rug:

• Back Rolling: Roll the carpet out with the backside up, then roll it back up reversely. Let it sit rolled up reversely for a day or 2, or until it flattens out.
• Heavy Objects: Lay a piece of heavy furniture or objects on affected areas for a day or 2, or until it flattens out. For sticking up corners, curl them back and place heavy objects on affected areas going the opposite way.
• Heat: Place the rug over a cleared concrete area during dry sunny conditions to allow the rug to absorb the sun's heat. This can help flatten out the creases over time.
• Blow Dryer: If sunlight is not accessible, use a hair dryer on affected areas, holding it a safe distance away to avoid melting the backing.
