Bunching, Creases, and Folded Corners: Upon unrolling your new rug, you may notice some creases and bunching in the pile and around the corners. These imperfections will flatten out within 2-3 weeks as the rug is used. Here are some tricks to help expedite the flattening process:

-Back Rolling: Roll the carpet out, then roll it back up with the backside facing up. Let it sit rolled up in this manner for a day or two until it flattens out. -Heavy Objects: Place a piece of heavy furniture or objects on the affected areas for a day or two until it flattens out. If the corners are sticking up, curl them back and place heavy objects on the affected areas going in the opposite direction. -Heat: As a last resort, place the rug over a cleared concrete or sunny area like a driveway. Allow the rug to absorb the sun's heat for up to 2 hours or longer if needed. -Blow Dryer: If a large concrete area is not accessible, flip the rug over and use a hair dryer on the affected areas. Hold the hair dryer 7 to 12 inches away from the rug at a medium setting, moving side to side. -Natural Materials: Our area rug is handmade from 100% Jute in India, ensuring quality craftsmanship. Due to the handmade nature, there may be slight variations in color and size, making each rug unique.
